No sign-up, no API key, no usage limit, and no bill later. Hotlink it directly — that is what it is for.

Keep the link back, and we ask nothing else

The snippets wrap the image in a link to our wait-times page. That link is the whole price. You do not owe us a logo, a mention, or a follow.

We do not track your visitors

The badge is a plain image. It sets no cookies and runs no JavaScript, and `/badge` is explicitly excluded from our visit analytics, so embedding it never puts your readers into our stats. Being honest about the floor: like any hotlinked image anywhere on the web, the request itself reaches our host and appears in ordinary server logs. We do not build anything on those. See our privacy policy for what we do and don’t collect.

It updates itself, and it can say “—”

Figures refresh hourly. When a lane has too few reported approvals to publish a trustworthy median, that lane shows a dash rather than a number we don’t stand behind. That is deliberate — you are embedding our judgment as well as our data, and we would rather show nothing than something wrong.

Before you put a number on your site, know where it comes from: every figure is self-reported by NFA filers, not pulled from official ATF records. How we compute it explains the medians, the sample floors, and what community-reported data can and cannot tell you.
